Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has announced a major collaboration with the hit anime and manga series Naruto.

The partnership, which was revealed earlier today, is the latest crossover event by MLBB as the game brings in another franchise to one of mobile esports’ most popular games.

“For over two decades, Naruto has inspired generations with its themes of perseverance, friendship, and chasing one’s dreams,” commented Lyn Xi, MOONTON Games’ Naruto Collaboration Lead.

“Many of us grew up with Naruto, so this collaboration is a deeply personal one. We are honoured to bring the ninja spirit to the Land of Dawn and celebrate Naruto’s enduring legacy with our community.”

Unfortunately, details about the collaboration have yet to be revealed. The game’s developer, MOONTON Games, has stated that more information, including a release date, will be published in the months ahead.

With the game’s recent release in China, it stands to be one of the most popular collaboration events so far.

Naruto becomes MLBB’s latest Anime Collaboration

Naruto is the latest anime to enter the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang universe. The game has previously partnered with other anime franchises such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan and Hunter x Hunter.

The game has also been involved in movie collaborations with the likes of Star Wars and Transformers, and has featured sporting icons such as Neymar Jr.

Lyn added: “MLBB and Naruto share the same ability – to bring people together. We are excited to unite both fanbases by giving gamers and anime enthusiasts a new way to have fun!”

MLBB has grown to become one of the most popular mobile esports games in the world. It has over 1.5bn installations and 110m active monthly users. The game has an active esports scene in more than 30 countries, which has continued to gain traction in 2025.

Naruto is a popular Japanese anime and manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto. It has more than 250m copies in regular circulation in over 60 regions globally. It has released over 11 movies and broadcasted its hit TV show for over a decade.
