nhow Berlin, the German branch of international hotel chain nhow, has opened a dedicated gaming studio.
In collaboration with German esports organisation SK Gaming, the nhow Gaming Studio will be available to esports teams and content creators.
According to a release, the 71-square-metre facility has been ‘specifically designed for streamers, content creators, esports teams and agencies’. The facility includes five gaming stations, a coaching station and desks, enabling esports teams to use the facility for training sessions and pre-event boot camps.
The facility includes high-end PCs, high-speed internet connection and chairs provided by gaming chair manufacturer Noblechairs.
“With the new nhow Gaming Studio, we are taking the next step in establishing our hotels as the first choice for streamers, content creators, and professional esports teams,” said Christian Friedrich, Senior Commercial Director of Minor Hotels Europe and Americas.
“By mid-2026, we aim to provide all nhow hotels in Northern Europe with gaming facilities.”
The launch of the facility isn’t the first time nhow has collaborated with SK Gaming. In January 2023, the two parties extended their existing partnership to operate a range of activations using the hotel’s facilities.
2025 is set to be a strong year for esports in Germany. Munich is set to host the BLAST R6 Fall Major, while The International, Dota 2’s biggest tournament, will emanate from Hamburg.
Hotels Cashing In On Esports
The trend of hotels offering dedicated spaces for esports teams and content creators shows no signs of slowing down.
Alongside nhow, the Radisson Hotel Group has launched a similar initiative. Esports Ready by Radisson Hotels provides teams with high-speed internet, time-saving services, and private rooms to train in.
Outside of offering facilities, hotel chains continue to secure deals with a range of esports organisations and high-profile tournaments. In March, THE PLAZA joined forces with Hanwha Life Esports, while June saw Marriot Bonvoy partner with the LEC.
