Red Bull UK has announced a partnership with The NUEL that will see it support collegiate esports across the United Kingdom.
The partnership will see Red Bull UK provide support for collegiate esports and gaming on campuses across the UK in hopes of building on the success it’s had with its previous on-campus events.

Red Bull UK will help students improve within esports by granting access to equipment, qualifications to tournaments, and workshop opportunities. The energy drink brand will host workshops at its Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Shoreditch, London. One such event is LANdon, a collaboration between several London universities and The NUEL.
Josh Williams, Founder and Managing Director of The NUEL commented on the partnership in a release: “Red Bull UK shares our vision for supporting the development of student esports, so we’re delighted to be working even more closely with them to create exciting new experiences. We will continue working with Red Bull UK to develop new opportunities to help students grow, build communities, and have fun.”

The NUEL is no stranger to Red Bull UK, having already worked with energy drink brand alongside Riot Games on the Riot Games Student Summit. The full-day workshop was dedicated to connecting and training the next generation of “student leaders.”
Students are able to apply to receive support from Red Bull UK through their university society representative.
Esports Insider says: Education is a crucial part of a young person’s growth. With Red Bull UK and The NUEL partnering, the pair hope to give the next generation of students – specifically those interested in esports – a leg up in their journey. The NUEL has also recently partnered with Riot Games, a company that also has ties to Red Bull so perhaps more collaborations are to come in the future.
